Phil Laeger is a singer/songwriter who has been active in worship ministry for over two decades. As a composer, Laeger’s music has been used by outlets as diverse as The National Day of Prayer, Factorie, Good Morning America and Disney France. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Phil has won competitions with Eddie’s Attic, the Susquehanna Folk Festival, and the Tennessee Songwriters Week.

He has collaborated on various projects with friends and artists such as Damien Horne, Randy Bonifield, Aaron Shust, Rebecca St. James, and Graham Kendrick. In 2018, Phil and friend Joe Caddy the full-length musical A Long Way Off, based on the story of the prodigal son, with productions at The Miller High Life Theatre and Merit Theatre. In 2020, he and Stephen Court co-wrote STAYED, a devotional book that explores peace-filled living. In 2022, the Nashville Songwriters Assocation named him “one to watch”.

Having served in congregations within the Evangelical Covenant Church, Converge Worldwide, and The Salvation Army, Phil’s songs are regularly used by churches in worship.
